Getting clients in and out of bed
Assisting clients with daily needs such as bathing, grooming, shaving, dental care, and dressing.
Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
Toileting and incontinence care
For bed bound and chair bound clients, performing safe frequent position changes to prevent skin breakdown.
Assistance with transfers and ambulation
Preparing and serving meals according to client's dietary needs.
Feeding clients where applicable
Maintaining a daily client log on all services rendered for that day
Medication reminders.
Offer conversation and assist with appointment arrangements.
Household assistance includes:
- sweeping, washing, and vacuuming floors
- Dusting and picking up living space
- General cleaning of kitchen, bathroom, and other room used by client
- Putting groceries away
- Making bed and changing bed linens.
Laundry:
- Sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and putting away clothing and household linens.
- Dropping off and picking up dry cleaning.
